Welcome to my portfolio and website. I am glad you're here.
If you're looking for a photo-journalistic approach to your event photography needs, you've come to the right place. I have more than 30 years' experience as a photojournalist — starting at The Walton Tribune as a stringer in high school and moving through a documentary mission to Angola, Africa in 2003 and coverage of the aftermath of Hurricane Charley in 2004.
A photo-journalistic style means that your moments are captured as they happen: candid and real. The photos tell an objective story of your event. Sometimes they are the front-and-center, big moments; and sometimes they are quiet little moments happening all over your event.
That is my approach to photography, and I would be honored to apply my skills and experience to your family or corporate event. Contact me through this site and let's set up a time to talk about your needs.
I look forward to hearing from you.
A Little Photographic Philosophy:
A photographer's work and joy is to find and document beauty in the everyday and in once-in-a-lifetime events. I believe that every picture should tell a story, not just record a moment. On this site you will see some of my favorite stories from nature, concerts and events, people and animals, and special events — from the everyday to the extraordinary.
I invite you inside to view the stories, see the beauty and become part of my work.
The artist is a receptacle for emotions that come from all over the place: from the sky, from the earth, from a scrap of paper, from a passing shape...
